Convert Turkish grades to US
From Turkish (0–100) to US (0–4.0 GPA). Instant, free, calculated in your browser.
Turkish students applying abroad most often need to translate the 0–100 percentage system (or its AA–FF letters) into a US 4.0 GPA for graduate admissions.
How the Turkish → US conversion works
Every MyCollab conversion runs through a single 0–1 normalized score so the math stays consistent across all nine systems.
Turkish percentages first map to a 4.0 letter grade (AA = 4.0, BA = 3.5 … FF = 0), then to the normalized scale via gpa ÷ 4.0.
To express the normalized score on the US 4.0 GPA scale, MyCollab multiplies by 4.0 and reports two decimals.
Worked example: a 85 on the Turkish (0–100) scale normalizes to 0.88. On the US (0–4.0 GPA) scale, 0.88 corresponds to 3.50 (A− / Magna Cum Laude).
Worked example
85 (Turkish) → 3.50 (US)
Normalized score: 0.88 · A− / Magna Cum Laude
